About Us

About us

Christina has concentrated her practice exclusively on family law since 2013.

Christina has substantial experience handling a wide range of family law matters, including those with complex financial and child custody issues. Christina has an extensive litigation background, yet recognizes that the majority of family law disputes are ultimately resolved out of court. To that end, Christina is also a skilled negotiator.  She is always focused on obtaining the best resolution possible for her clients (ideally out of court when possible), and offers support and empathy throughout the process.

In addition to individual legal representation, Christina serves as a mediator for parties who wish to use a neutral third party to help them resolve family law issues in an out-of-court process focused on settlement.

Before founding Djordjevich Law and Mediation, Christina worked at a preeminent family law boutique in Los Angeles (where she was a partner) and in New York City. Before turning her focus to family law, Christina practiced commercial litigation at both Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp and Latham & Watkins LLP. She is licensed to practice law in California and in New York.

Christina received her law degree from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and editor of the Columbia Journal of Law and the Arts. She received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College, Columbia University, magna cum laude and with Departmental Honors.

Christina is a graduate of the National Family Law Trial Institute in Houston, Texas. She received her mediation training at the Center for Understanding in Conflict. She frequently lectures on family law topics.
